Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya (Scripture of Sajjad) is a book containing 54 supplications and du'as attributed to Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin, the great-grandson of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.

After the Qur'an and Nahj al-balagha, this book has an important position among the Shi'a school of thought and is known as "Zabur Al Muhammad" (the Psalms of the Family of Muhammad (s)) and "Injil Ahl al-Bayt (a)" (the Gospel of the Household of the Prophet (s)) and is an example of the highest form of eloquence.

Although this book is in the form of supplications, it also contains many Islamic teachings mentioned alongside the supplications. In this book, topics surrounding different issues are explained in the form of supplications such as theology, ideology, anthropology, the Unseen World, angels, the nubuwwa, the position of the Prophet Muhammad (s) and the Ahl al-Bayt (a), Imamate, moral virtues and vices, honoring Eids, social and economic issues, historical points, different blessings of God, manners of supplication, recitation, dhikr, prayer, worship, etc. The most famous supplication of al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is Makarim al-Akhlaq. 602 pages hardback. Binding bit loose in some books.

Since 9/11, "Islam" has become a buzzword, conjuring fiery images of fundamentalists and fanatics on a mission to bring down Western culture. This sensible book is a welcome reminder that Islam is a much more complex belief system -- one that in fact reflects and teaches progressive, humane values. Jafri covers progressive concepts of Islam, sectarian violence in the Islamic world, international terrorism and peace, the concept of social justice, freedom and rationalism in Islam, the status of women and human rights, and more. This book Shi`ah Advanced Seminary Its Phases, development and characteristics, takes you through a journey how the Hawza system work. Topics covered 1 History of two Hawzahs 2 Style 3 Hawzah flexibility 4 Political independence 5 Economic independence 6 spiritual independence 7 First to third phase 8 Powerful education system HEAVILY SUBSIDIZED BY WWW.ISLAMICTHOUGHT.CO.UK  This text contains fifty chapters, each containing an important lesson on the fundamental beliefs of our faith that are especially relevant for the youth of today. Ayatullah Makarim Shirazi presents these lessons using both philosophical reasoning as well as Qur'anic verses, and concludes each lesson with a few relevant questions which are intended to increase understanding of that particular lesson. HEAVILY SUBSIDIZED BY WWW.ISLAMICTHOUGHT.CO.UKThis book, which is written by a well known scholar, a graduate of the Sorbonne, who switched from one Muslim school of thought to another, attempts to prove that the Muslims who truly follow the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet of Islam are actually none other than those referred to as the Shi as. It details how these Shi as (or Shi ites) learn this Sunnah from the closest people to the Prophet of Islam: his immediate family members. It traces the history of the Muslims of the first Islamic century and how they split into two camps, thus setting the foundations for both of these major sects. It also deals with the persecution to which the immediate family members of the Prophet of Islam were subjected and the politicians who played a major role in widening the gap between the followers of this sect and those of that. As for its style, the author restricts himself to quoting major authentic Sunni works to prove his point, relying on an in-depth study of the Islamic history in general and of that of the first century in particular. Many controversial themes are discussed in this book, including that of the infallibility of the Prophet of Islam and of the Twelve Imams who descended from Ali and Fatima, cousin and daughter of the Prophet respectively. Finally, the book concludes with an Appendix containing an Arabic poem in one thousand lines in praise of Commander of the Faithful Ali composed by an Iraqi poet for the Arabic speaking readers.
